Our Story

The Anglican Diocese of Jos established the Centre for Gospel Health and Development (CeGHaD) in May 1994 as the health and social development ministry of the Church, following the growth initiatives of Most Rev. Dr. Benjamin Argak Kwashi.

Initially called Gospel Medical Services (GMS) and later Gospel Health and Development Services (GHaDS), CeGHaD was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2009 as a faith-based NGO.

For over 32 years, we have been implementing development and humanitarian projects funded by various bilateral and multilateral donors, reaching 237 communities across Plateau State and beyond.

Our Vision

A future where individuals and communities are empowered to use their potentials and develop holistically

Our Mission

Mobilize the human and material resources within and outside the church to improve the lives of individuals and their communities

Our Goal

To continue with the mission of our Lord Jesus Christ, bringing wholeness to those we serve by working with unreached individuals and communities to improve their health, social and spiritual conditions
